Hoax Email Alert!

A "phishing" email is circulating claiming to be from the FDIC. This email says that "your bank" has been declared a "failed bank," and that you should click on a link in the email to check your FDIC coverage.

Don't be fooled! They are trying to steal your personal information!

Please understand that neither the FDIC, nor any government agency, nor any bank would send out an email of this nature.

Citizens Bank of Edmond Customers

Citizens Bank of Edmond is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
