Security Changes

As previously announced, we have changed the method you use to login to your online banking in our efforts to help you avoid Internet fraud.

New Features:

When you enter your login ID on the website, you will be taken to a second page to enter your Online Banking PIN/password. When you login to the updated website, you will be asked to pick a picture, which will become your personal Personal Identification Image (Watermark). After selecting your Personal Identification Image, you will see it every time you are prompted to enter your PIN/password for online banking. If you do not see your Personal Identification Image, do not enter your password! Instead, contact Citizens Bank of Edmond immediately. This will help you avoid "Phishing/Pharming" schemes which can lead to identity theft or fraud.

As a result of this change, if you had been using the Auto-Complete feature of Internet Explorer to auto-fill your user ID or Password, this function will no longer work.

A second feature is called Multi-Factor Authentication. You will be asked to pick three questions which only you could answer. When we receive an Online Banking login request from a new location, or when you perform a transaction outside of your usual activity, you may be prompted to answer the questions you previously chose to authenticate your identity.

If you have questions about these new features, call our Operations department at (405) 341-6650. For more information on how you can help protect your private information, visit our Online Security page.
